1. Who we are
1.1 MouseTech Studios LLC ("MouseTech Studios", "we", "us", "our") is an independent software studio that builds apps and tools for visitors and fans of theme parks, resorts, and cruises.
1.2 This Privacy Policy covers the mousetechstudios.com website and any MouseTech Studios app or service that does not have its own privacy policy. Lightning Brain has its own Lightning Brain Privacy Policy, and ShopMouse has its own ShopMouse Privacy Policy and ShopMouse Terms. Those documents apply when you use those apps.
2. What we collect on this website
2.1 Very little. This website has no accounts, no forms, no analytics, and no advertising. We do not set cookies.
2.2 Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may process standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request in order to serve the site and protect it from abuse. Cloudflare handles that information under its own privacy policy.
3. What we collect when you contact us
3.1 If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you write. We use it only to reply to you and to keep a record of the conversation.
3.2 If you reach us through Facebook or Instagram, those platforms process your information under their own privacy policies.
4. What our apps collect
4.1 Our apps are designed to work with as little personal information as possible. Where an app needs data to do its job, such as a packing list you create or a design you save, that data is stored on your device or in your own iCloud account unless the app tells you otherwise. ShopMouse is the exception: it is a marketplace with real payments, so orders, listings, and messages are stored on our servers, as described in the ShopMouse Privacy Policy.
4.2 Purchases made through the Apple App Store are handled by Apple. We receive confirmation that a purchase occurred, but we do not receive your payment card details.
4.3 If an app collects information beyond what is described here, it will have its own privacy policy or an in-app notice that explains what is collected and why.
5. How we use information
5.1 We use the information described above to:
- Respond to your messages and provide support
- Operate, maintain, and secure our website and apps
- Comply with legal obligations
5.2 We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
6. Data retention
6.1 We keep email correspondence for as long as needed to handle your request and for a reasonable period afterward for reference. You may ask us to delete it at any time.
6.2 Data stored on your device or in your iCloud account is under your control and is removed when you delete the app or the data.
7. Your rights
7.1 Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, or to withdraw consent.

8. Children's privacy
8.1 Our website and apps are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
8.2 If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Security
9.1 We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold, including encrypted connections to our website and services.
9.2 No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Where data is processed
10.1 We are based in the United States, and information we hold is processed there. If you use our website or apps from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States.
11. Third parties
11.1 Our website and apps may link to third-party sites and services, including the Apple App Store, Facebook, and Instagram. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.
11.2 MouseTech Studios is not affiliated with The Walt Disney Company. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.

12.1 We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of our website or apps after a change means you accept the updated policy.
